The Town of Riverview is now home to an increasing pet demographic. As the town enjoys an influx of new growth and expansion in every sector, including a thriving residential component, it follows that the need for pet care has also increased in tandem. Recently opened, the Coverdale Vet facility at 516 Pinewood Road in the Findlay Park area is the answer to a need for quality pet care in a town that still enjoys the atmosphere of a country small town setting, while developing new neighbourhoods that include thriving pet populations.
A full service facility, Coverdale Vet Hospital is proud of its exemplary team of professionals headed by Dr. Margaret Dunnett, and rounded out by Veterinary Assistant Christy McKnight and Veterinary Technicians Tricia Ferris and Katie Hatcher. Doctor Dunnett grew up in Riverview and is proud to serve a community filled with neighbours, friends, family, clients, and, of course, their pets. A keen animal lover, she shares her home with her husband, children, and a menagerie of her own animals. A complete roster of services include annual health examinations, blood testing, vaccination programs, puppy and kitten programs, senior pet programs, dentistry and radiology, anesthesia and surgery, as well as weight loss, behavioural consultations, grooming, and pet supplies services. \
A brand new state-of-the-art building complex has the latest in diagnostic technology including an onsite lab and a pharmacy. Coverdale Vet Hospital also provides home delivery of pharmacy items and house calls where necessary. Hours of operation are Tuesday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, and 24-hour emergency service.
