A rapidly expanding Riverview has seen important additions in
the Findlay Park Business area. Lower property taxes and operating costs make
the Town of Riverview the logical choice for businesses to consider.
With ample room for expansion and all the amenities of big city living
in a small town atmosphere, Riverview is the logical choice for new
business ventures to find a home.
The Findlay Park Business
Centre is an independently-owned property belonging to a group of
developers under Patmar Holdings Ltd. This up-and-coming retail and
service centre is now home to a number of successful ventures.
Service-related entities such as The Riverview Fire Department, The
District 12 R.C.M.P. Detachment, and the new Scotia Bank Drive-thru
outlet are joined by a Needs Convenience Store, a Tim Hortons Coffee
Shop, The Great Canadian Dollar Store, Subway, and independently-owned
small businesses, all sharing the park. Recent additions have included
Downey’s Home Hardware, Guardian Drugs, and Snap Fitness Centre.
A third veterinarian hospital will soon be
erected at the corner of Gunningsville Boulevard and Pine Glen Road to
facilitate the move of the existing animal clinic on Trites Road to an
expanded location.
It was recently announced that Sobeys plans a huge
43,000 sq. ft., 10 million dollar mega-store to take up residence
within the park, possibly bringing with it another major enterprise as
yet unnamed. In what promises to become a dynamic, one-stop shopping
environment for area residents, the Findlay Business Centre is destined
to inject a boost to the economy to the Town of Riverview.
